I like multi-hit because it encourages you to try standing your ground more and not always relying on kiting every zombie you see allowing a different experience. I have deleted all mods, unsubbed from all mods, verified game files, deleted all folders, and did 2 fresh installs. Still no matter what I cannot seem to push more than one zombie at a time. Multi hit is too boring. Combat is all about spacing and timing, and finding the right rythm for these two things. Also, even a few zombies mean quite the threat for a long while untill you level up a weapon skill. With multi hit on, the game turns into a hack and slash borefest, where even larger groups are easy to deal with from the get go.
