Peasant is my favorite restaurant in Manhattan. It offers modern Italian food with a classy, but homey feeling. As you enter the restaurant, you walk into a stylish lounge. Behind that is a decent size dining room with various larger tables for parties. In the back of the restaurant is a stone hearth where they bake all of the food.
