Gastonia, N.C. – The Gaston County Board of Education has approved the appointment of a new superintendent for Gaston County Schools. Morgen A. Houchard, Ed.D., will become superintendent of schools, effective February 19, 2024. The Board approved the appointment of Houchard during a special meeting on January 8, 2024.
